Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Quarksol ("we," "us," or "our") handles data in connection with the Quark AgentFlow AI WordPress plugin and related software.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

Quarksol does not collect, store, or process any personal data through the Quark AgentFlow AI plugin on our own servers. All plugin data (settings, agent configurations, chat history) is stored locally in your WordPress database.

2. Third-Party AI Providers

When you configure the plugin with a third-party AI provider (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, etc.) and a user interacts with the chatbot, the user's chat messages may be sent to that third-party provider's API. This transmission is governed by the provider's own privacy policy. We recommend disclosing this to your site visitors in your own privacy policy.

3. IP Geolocation

The plugin optionally uses the IP-API service to determine approximate visitor location for WooCommerce store personalization. The visitor's IP address is transmitted to IP-API in this case. See IP-API's legal page for their data handling practices.

4. Analytics (Optional)

If the Inspector APM integration is enabled, performance and error data may be sent to Inspector.dev. This feature is opt-in and disabled by default. See Inspector's Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies

The plugin itself does not set cookies. Your WordPress site may set cookies through normal WordPress operation.

6. Data Retention

Chat history and agent data are stored in your WordPress database and can be deleted at any time through the plugin's admin interface or by uninstalling the plugin.

7. Your Rights

As the site owner, you control all data stored by this plugin. Plugin users (your visitors) have rights under applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). You are responsible for complying with those laws on your own site.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
